Retaining Walls

A retaining wall is used on patios and yards as a way to transition the hardscape feature from the rest of your property. These walls can be made of Nicolock or a variety of materials preferred by the customer. We have experience working with all types of block, brick, natural stone, and we are a Nicolock preferred installer. Many customers prefer the look and cost effectiveness of using Nicolock. They even offer a faux natural stone finish, such as slate. Retaining walls not only transition the borders of patios and the yard, but in some cases are engineered walls to retain or cap uneven areas in a yard, patios built on a sloped yard, parking lots, driveways, and even the edges of ponds. Engineered retaining walls are usually made of cinder block and then covered with a decorative stone veneer. Which can be matched to the hardscape of the nearby structures, driveway, patio, or house.

Above Grade can build, replace and repair any retaining wall. As a Nicolock preferred installer, we stand by our work and quality of the products that we use. Delaware outdoor home renovations are a breeze with Above Grade Inc.
